Non-contact games for large groups that practice social distancing
Low-movement, non-physical and non-contact
Finding non-contact games for large groups is definintely a challenge but we've come up with a few ideas that should help get you started. If your large church, youth group, kids club or scout group is beginning to meet as restrictions ease, you'll want to set strict guidelines for how close people are sitting and standing to one another. A great way to do this is by taking away every second chair, or by marking lines on the floor.
The easiest large group games to play involve simple audience participation and avoid any movement or player-to-player interaction. Using a leader or screen to "host the game" will be the best way to go.
The games listed below may require some modification to meet the social distancing restrictions but should give your big group and great starting point for coming up with fun games to play.
