How To Play Mix & Meet
Materials Needed
M&M chocolates
This is a really fun and simple (and yummy) small group get to know you game. Get each person to grab a small handful of M&M's but be sure to tell them not to eat them yet.
Each person will need to take a turn to share a fact about themselves for every chocolate they have grabbed. The fact they share must be associated with the colour of the M&M they picked. For example, if they have three blue and one green, they would have to say three facts for the "blue topic" and one fact for the "green topic".
Here are some examples of topics you can do for the colours. Feel free to mix and match to use the topics you like.
VERSION #1
Blue = Something about your family
Green = Something about your school
Yellow = Something about your friends
Red = People you admire
Brown = Music & movies you like
VERSION #2
Blue = Something about your childhood
Green = Favourite hobbies
Yellow = Most memorable or embarrassing moment
Red = Favourite foods
Brown = Favourite places to travel
This food-based small group icebreaker game can be played with other colourful chocolates too.
- M&Ms
- Smarties
- Jelly beans
- Jubes
- Clinkers

You could use Bingo chips too!
When you give out the toilet paper, you make them think that this is their ration for the night, in case they have to use the bathroom - that way, they will take more than one square. (You don't lie; you don't say anything at all, except for something like, "Please take as much toilet paper as you think you will need this evening" or something like that.) It's my first time as a youth President and am not sure how to get my your and Sunday school children active learning and having fun same time please help me so I can have a successful groupsπππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππI play this game alot using the toilet paper.I find the young people have a great time and have many laughs especially the boys.When they realise what they have to do they always ask can they put some back.It really is a great way of getting them to open up about themselves.

Weβre doing this Sunday with 25-30 middle schoolers and high schoolers. This is how Iβll do it:
Going to split the big group up into 4 by their birthdays. Group 1 is Jan-Mar bdays, Group 2 is Apr-Jun...and so on. Once divided, have them grab some M&Ms and give 6-8 minutes to go through the activity. Should work well
I love this game

hi there... i was told to prepare games for our farewell dinner with our missionary thats about to go out on his mission, and i found this... it was funnier then i thought..lol.
Great way to get everyone to share a little about themselves. Especially in a 'shy' group of kids
That is a great game and im gonna try it with my youth group
I love this game
Another way to play this is to use colored paper squares or poker chips. I have a lot of sick kids with specific food needs come through, so we have to steer clear of a lot of food-based stuff, and so I keep some red/yellow/blue paper squares on hand, as well as some red/white/blue poker chips (but the paper ones are easy to add to, and I sometimes don't have enough poker chips).
I play this game alot using the toilet paper.I find the young people have a great time and have many laughs especially the boys.When they realise what they have to do they always ask can they put some back.It really is a great way of getting them to open up about themselves.
