This is one of the easiest games to set up... but one of the most annoying games to clean up!

Divide your hall into halves or quarters or however many teams you want to have (may depend on the size of your hall / youth group). Get a decent amount of old newspaper and throw it around randomly, then say GO!

The aim of the game is to have the least amount of newspaper in your section by the end of the time limit (a couple of minutes). So your team has to grab the incoming newspaper and throw it, or take it, into another section. No other rules really!

Then, to make cleaning up easier, just make the next game "Whoever picks up the most newspaper wins!"

I tried this variation and they loved it. I gave 2 teams each a different color paper and used a area that had a short wall. We used pvc pipe from a pupet state once. The games starts and each team is to QUICKLY make a paper airpane and fly it to the other side. Give 60 seconds and count how many opposing color planes are on your side and the one with the most on the other side wins!

We played a game just like this called "Clean House". Instead of newspaper we cut up sponges and we'd have a set amount of time that each team would have to throw the sponges to the other team's side. We'd count up how much was on each side after 2 minutes, then the team with the least would get a point. We played a few rounds, like best out of 5.

haha.. the clean up "game" is quite a smart way to clean up!! XD
