State the Cheese

A food duel game for junior youth

How To Play State the Cheese

Materials Needed

A lot of sliced cheese

Two teams (1 or 2 youth to a team) head off in a race to eat away at a slice of cheese to create a certain shape.

For this game, we projected images of states (hence the name of the game) on the screen and the contestants races to recreate the shapes of the states out of their slices of cheese.

We usually choose about five rounds of different states, and which ever team wins the most rounds claims the victory! This game becomes pretty funny when we project tricky shapes like Hawaii.

Another trickier and cheaper thing you could do is Jell-O

I should have mentioned that I love to use this short game as a mini-game inside a larger game. For instance, I would use this as a physical challenge in recreating the greatest gameshow ever, Double Dare.
